Holly visited our class today at Arcola City Hall to tell us about her experience as a student in CEO, and to help us prepare for our Trade Show in April.
We talked about how to know if you should keep your business going during college or not, and why she chose to put her business on hold.
We also talked about which businesses would need to collect and pay sales tax, how to compute mileage if we take a job outside of our area, and how to select and order promotional materials.
Holly also stressed that our businesses should generate enough income to make it worth our time and effort. "You've got be sure you're getting paid fairly for your business."
