Karina Warfel

About Me

My name is Karina Warfel, and I am a senior at Arcola High School. I am involved in scholastic bowl and National Art Honor Society, and I am currently serving as student council president. Additionally, I play double bass and am a part of the Eastern Illinois Symphony Orchestra. I made the decision to join the CEO program in order to meet local business owners and explore what truly goes into running a business. After high school, I am planning on going to college to double major in art and Spanish with the hope of doing a semester abroad in a Spanish speaking country.

“I am hopeful that I will be able to use the skills I learn in CEO to not only allow me to learn more about my community and the businesses that support it, but to make the connections to be able to see how far reaching and impactful running your own business can be throughout the world.”
